ANNOUNCEMENT # 1: SHAUN AGOSTINE- MONACO CIRCUS 35TH FESTIVAL Art Contest & WORLD LEBANESE CULTURAL UNION INDEPENDANCE Art Contest- Oct.& Nov. 2010

I have the honor to announce the following through my blog :
It is with great happiness that we publish two announcements that I received yesterday Monday November 15, 2010 at school before we go to our long vacation:

1- Our pupil SHAUN AGOSTINE, 8 years old, CE2 (Grade III)at the International College, Ain Aar Campus, Lebanon, won the 1st place in the Monaco Circus Festival Art Contest.
Shaun will represent not only International College and Lebanon but also Asia in the 35th FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU CIRQUE DE MONTE CARLO that will be held from Thursday January 20 till Tuesday January 25 2011. And as every year, a JURY JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL composed of 6 children aged between 8 and 10 years is implemented.

For this 35th anninversary, the 5 continents will be represented and 7 children will be selected as follows:
- AMERICA: WASHINGTON
- ASIA: LEBANON- BEIRUT
- AFRICA: EGYPT- CAIRO
- EUROP: CHECK REPUBLIC
- EUROP: STRASBOURG
- OCEANIA: AUSTRALIA- MELBOURNE
- MONACO: PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO

Mrs. Chantal RAVERA, the responsible of the JURY JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL has confirmed that Shaun was selected and that he won in the contest. Her letter was forwarded to me by the administration and by Shaun's parents.

2- Also, I am proud to announce that Shaun has won 5th place in the Independance Art Contest organized by the WORLD LEBANESE CULTURAL UNION in the world. Both parents, Shaun and somebody from the administration are invited to attend the ceremony on the 20th of November at Metropolitan, Sin El Fil, Beirut, Lebanon, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
I have the honor to represent the school in this event upon the request of Mrs. Samia BOULAD, the Art Coordinator at the IC, and Ms. Lama KHAYR, my director at the Primary School at IC Ain Aar, Metn, Lebanon.

Congratulations to Shaun, to his parents and family, to our school in Ain Aar, to IC in Lebanon, to Lebanon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Attention: I am concerned to publish the pictures posted here, thyey are the ones that Shaun drew for the Monaco Circus Festival Art Contest and for the Independence Art Contest too.They show what has bedd done and what has been rewarded.

Many thanks from the bottom of my heart to all of the Contests Organizers, to all who have contributed in many ways and prepared the events, for all the responsibles at IC, directly or indirectly, let me name Mrs. Samia BOULAD, to our beloved school who always encourages her pupils and instructors to express themselves in a peaceful and professional environment in order to prosper and realize themselves.

J' ai l' honneur de vous annoncer que notre élève SHAUN AGOSTINE, 8 ans, en classe de CE2 à l' International College campus de AIN AAR, va représenter non seulement son école et le Liban, mais aussi tout le Continent Asiatique dans le 35eme FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU CIRQUE DE MONTE CARLO qui aura lieu du Jeudi 20 Janvier au Mardi 25 janvier 2011. Et comme tous les ans un JURY JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL composé de 6 enfants âgés entre 8 et 10 ans est mis en place.

Madame Chantal RAVERA, la responsable JURY JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL a confirmé que Shuan a été sélectionné et a gagné le concours. Sa lettre m' a été envoyée par l'administration et par les parents de Shaun.

En outre, je suis fière d' annoncer que Shaun a aussi gagné 5eme place dans le concours de l' Indépendance organisé par l' UNION LIBANAISE CULTURELLE MONDIALE. Les parents de Shaun, Shaun et quelqu' un de l' administration sont invités à assister à la cérémonie qui aura lieu le 20 novembre au Metropolitan à Sin El Fil, Beyrouth, Liban de 6:00 à 8:00 pm.
J'ai l' honneur de représenter l' école à la suitE de la demande de Mma. Samia BOULAD, la coordinatrice d' Art à IC et de Mme. Lama KHAYR, ma directrice au primaire à Ain Aar, et la famille Agostine, suite à leur demande.

N.B. Les deux dessins publiés sont ceux qui ont été faits pas Shaun pour les deux concours.
